Recent Happenings!!

Yes, I know it has been a little while since I posted. I have a couple of reasons.
I had no computer for a while and I simply kept forgetting :)

I am now the owner of a new laptop, courtesy of christmas!! YAY!! It is so awesome! I love it! A few months ago I had bought a little netbook, but it kept freezing and making funny noises. I called the manufacture and they won't replace it, but they said it was still under warranty. I had to pay to ship it back to them, hopefully they ship it back and the problem doesn't persist anym more. My husband (and myself) convinced me to get a nice laptop. My desk top computer is dieing a slow death and only will turn on half the time, the other half the time when it does turn on it sounds like it is about to take off into outer space. It's pretty noisy. So this is me right now, typing on my new computer!

This week was christmas, and as a Christmas tradition for me....I was sick. Not extrememly sick, but just a small fever and aches. I did get to visit my inlaws because they were all close by, but I have yet to visit my family for the holidays, due to not enough energy to drive there. It will happen though :)

So cool story.
This is the first Christmas we had without my mother-in-law. She died in January this year, but apparently she was thinking ahead. I often wonder if she thought she wouldn't make it another year. Anyways, she bought genuine nutcrackers that were from germany either just before Christmas last year or right after, intending them to be for this year. So each one of her kids got to open a gift from their mom this christmas. It even had the year 2011 and their names written on it. I thought that was so neat. Now my husband and I have two genuine nutcrackers that were made in Germany. I will have to take pictures and show you.


I Guess I should give everyone (or those who read this) a Chronic Mono update.

I still have it!!!!! I am not sure how to get rid of it any more. If I ever get over it, I should write a book! But moslty the book would just be making fun of me and all the things I have tried. Right now I feel like I am just taking a lot of pills! Don't worry I am not popping a bunch of drugs. They are vitamins and non-perscription. I hate swallowing pills, I gag easily! So instead of putting all the pills in my mouth at once, I have to take one at time. It gets annoying.



SO, my blogs are usually random and don't really have a good flow to them :) I mostly write because I like too, so it doesn't matter much to me.
I died my hair! I have always wanted to go really blonde, but instead it went orange!! I swear it was orange! It was crazy!!My sister agreed with me, so I went and put hilights in it to calm down the orange color, I think it looks a lot better.

In these two pictures it actually looks like a cute color, but the lighting in the bathroom and on my camera was not doing it justice, it really did look orange!



The picture below is with the hilights in my hair. I asked the girls who were doing my hair if they would style it, they were excited to do so and this is how it turned out. I was just thinking of them straightening it, but they went all out! It was awesome!!

I was able to babys sit this cute little girl and her cute older sister for an hour or two, It was lots of fun. I wanted to take lots of pictures of her with her cute flower, but.........

All she was interest in was her feet, or maybe it was the flower on her pants she was so interested in!!

titles? i really never know what to put as a title for my blog. It is probably best to write the blog and then title it, but by the time I'm done writing my blog post I have usually totally forgotten about the title anywasy.

I really have decided I don't like driving in the salt lake area, especially during ......wow my mind just went blank.....what is it called, oh yeah, rush hour traffic. Coming from a small town I never had to worry about rush hour traffic.
All over salt lake they are doing this new thing where if you want to turn left, you have to get in a special lane way before the actual place you want to turn. It then directs you to the opposite side of oncoming traffic and you end up driving on the left side of the road until you finally are aloud to turn left.....ok I can see where this can speed up the process of moving cars along quicker, but what if you are not from the area? Is this a new thing they are doing all over this country? I hope so, because people coming to visit salt lake area will be confused. I really havent ever travelled much, so maybe everyone else has been doing this sort of thing for a long time.....

Anyways,onto another topic. I just don't know which topic to talk about. I always have great ideas about what I should blog about when I am not anywhere near my computer. I usually remember those ideas when I get to my computer, but then I usually decide that I am too tired to write on my blog.....wow, sometimes my life sounds really lame!!

I have been in this weird phase lately. For the past two and a half years I have been determined to get over this chonic mono, but lately I have....hmmm not given up......I don't know what the right word be at this moment. I have just been living my life as if this is how my life has always been......(just FYI when I have several dots in a row, it means I am thinking and there is a longer pause then just a regular period allows(at least in my mind any ways)) Wow a parantheses inside a parantheses, is that legal? Back to this weird phase, I just don't realy know how to describe it. I just do what I can and leave it at that. I have stopped getting so depressed about the things I can't do or want to do. Is that a good thing??


I would like to do a "what did I do last week". I am very forgetful at times, and sometimes I just can't believe how forgetful I can be :)Silly me. So this last week was eventful. I don't remember what I did Monday (that is why I need to blog more often), on Tuesday I help out with my grandma. I love helping her and she can be quite funny! She is living with my aunt Joan right now and I think she is enjoying it alot. She has four of her grandkids there to always keep her company. She needs to have someone there with her to help her out. She is mostly wheel chair bound. So on Tuesdays I go spend them with grandma while everyone is at work or school. My aunt Joan has this huge dog....ok to me, it is huge, but so adorable. My grandma loves this dog and thinks he is so cute, I agree with her. There are times that he scares the pajeebies out of me. He likes to look through the kitchen door and he will jump up and look in all happy, well I am near the door sometimes and all the sudden he jumps up to look at me and I am staring at this dog eye to eye! He is a goldendoodle....I think. On to Wednesday, I drove down and stayed with RB for the rest of the week and weekend. I went and saw the new twilight movie with RB, my sister and her husband, and a couple of Dalines Friends. It was an interesting show. My final verdict is I liked it, but I think they should have just made one movie. It would probably be a long 2-3 hour movie, but there was a lot of scened that just lingered on to much in my mind.

I am currently watching extreme couponing on TLC. This show always amazes me. It would be awesome to get that good of deals, I just don't want to put in the time. they seriously coupon like it is a full time job.

Today I had my brother and his wife and son come visit me today. It was fun to see them.

I am writing from my phone tonight, it is after midnight though so I guess its early morning. I went to Vegas last weekend. We left Thursday and drove there. My husband ran ragnar! It was crazy! He has been planning it or a while. He ran it with his broher and his sister. They had a team of 12 people and ran 188 miles in 36 hours! Talk about craziness!
We went to a movie tonight. Puss in Boots! It was great, it made me smile and laugh! I want the sound track now! It has some music you just want to get up and move too! I love that kind.
My step sisters baby shower was a success! Lots of people came and I ordered a huge subway sandwich! Three foot sub, but it was like ten inches wide! This thing was huge and there were probably twenty people eating it and I still had about a foot left to take home. I bet tu can guess what we ate all weekend! My step sister is having a boy. I am so excited for her.
Last night my younger sister came over with a couple of friends. They were getting ready for a Halloween party and I did there make up! It was fun! I will have to post pictures!

It has been a busier week then most for me. I am planning a Baby Shower!!! YAY!!! It is fun, and I have been making invitations and mailing them out. My step sister is having a baby in November. How exciting!

Today I ate a grape popsicle and it was wonderful! The sun was out today for like the first time in four days. I loved it. It was still chilly. I hope this week warms up because I am not ready for winter to come. Come to think of it, I am really never ready for winter to come. I love warm weather! It is wonderful. I often wonder what it would be like to live in a warmer climate where they don't really have a cold winter. I would probably miss it, but it would probably take me a couple of years to really miss it.

Hello Fellow People of the blogger world!

It is sunday and I decided it was time for a blog post, but I just don't feel like I have much to say. Lets se what my life has been doing..........this week I came down and stayed with RB. I have decided I am really really really going to miss living in a house. This aparment feels like the walls are paper thin and I can here everything. It is crazy, I woke up in the middle of the night a couple of nights ago to a baby crying and I swear it was in the next room. I was about to get up and go try and console the baby. It sounded like it had just woke up from a bad dream.

I went to a birthday party on saturday for my brother in law, it was fun to see alot of my family.

My apartment is really empty, maybe that is why it is so noisy.

2:20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant believe I didn't wake up until 2:20 pm today!!!!! I was frustrated, mad and in shock at that same time! What is with this body of mine. It wasn't a "I'm staying in bed trying to make myself sleep longer", I just was asleep!! I did wake up at 7am to tell RB goodbye when he left to work, then I fell asleep until 2:20pm..........CRAZY!

I don't think the vitamin b shot is working at all. It has been a week and I don't feel any different. As you can tell today is a frustrating day!

Learned it from all this running stuff RB has been doing lately. That's what he does, and its what I had to do with both of my toe surgeries.

I get to help out my grandma tomorrow.

I sat outside for a good hour today, and my butt got wet. I washed the chair off I wanted to sit on and apparently didn't wipe it off that well. T-bear and Nacho ( my parents dogs) kept me company. Both are awesome dogs.

I havent been doing much for the past couple of days, So not much to say.

Well Hello There!

Hi Dear Blog!How are you today?? Me? well I am good. I slept a good part of the day, but that is kind of my fault for staying up late and playing games on the xbox. Ha ha....silly me.

I went grocery shopping today. It was fun, I guess. When I walked into the store and this guy was trying to sell me a subscription to the herald journal. He thought I was a student at college, but I told him I was already done there and he didn't believe me when I told him my age :) It was funny. I like people always thinking I am younger then I actually am. I didn't get one of course, I just check all the news online nowadays, but I did get free coupons. It was great!

My brother is in the other room right now watching the packers game, it is pretty funny to here him talk to the TV :)

I have decided to go to the doctors tomorrow and demand to make me better from this chronic mono!! JK ok, not really but I do have an apt tomorrow, and I will be asking for another shot of vitamin B. Am I crazy, going to the doctors to ask for a shot :) oh well. I really feel like it helped. At least I think it did, I just hope it wasn't a placebo effect. I don't think it was because I had been trying a lot of other things and none of them seemed to work.

I am currently planning a vacation for me, RB and my father in law to all go on!! It is going to be Epic!! At least I hope it will be.

My house is still on the market! So if you know anyone who is looking for a house in my area, let them know! It is such a wonderful house! I will miss it a lot, but life goes on. I do have a pretty cute apartment that I will be moving into as soon as our house sales.

As of right now I think I am going to go play a computer game. I have done a lot today so far, even though I have felt pretty tired. I peeled and shredded some of my zuchini, weeded a little bit in my garden, did some laundry, and did the dishes. That seems to be accomplishing something today, unlike the last three days.

I know it has been a long time since I last posted. I spent a week in Yellowstone, got our house put up for sale, and also signed a lease on an apartment. So currently I am paying rent and a house payment. I sure hope this house sells soon. I have really loved living in this house and this neighborhood.

I wrote almost everyday in Yellowstone about what I did, so the following is going to be a recap.

It was a very eventfull day today. I have been up since 5:45 am. Daline and Ashley had been preparing for their 5k at the wheat and beat days, and RB decided to join them. Although RB had decided to do the 10k instead. It was fun because a lot of other family members decided to join in on the fun. Uncle David, Uncle Aaron, Josh and Lyssa all joined in to run the 5k. They all finished!! I am so proud of them all for setting a goal and accomplishing it. We all ate breakfast afterwords. It was yummy, all the runners got a breakfast for running, I took RB's breakfast since he had already ate earlier.

RB and I ventured home to pack up for a week long vacation in Yellowstone. It was a long day of driving and we are finally here. I will be spending my birthday in Yellowstone. I have been here once before on my birthday and it was pretty fun.

Bike rentals in Yellowstone are too expensive for my taste!! 35 bucks a day! Doesn't look like I will be getting much bike riding in this week. Also, last year you could use the wifi for free, but now they charge you by the hour or daily. RB and I were both sad about this too. We wandered back to our cabins. We decided to go get some yogurt and to wander around geyser hill. The yummy yogurt cheered me up! We sat on giantess for a bit, not expecting it to erupt. I just needed someplace to rest. We continued around geyser hill and sat on Plume until it erupted. Everyone else was also there waiting for it to erupt ( Dave, Wendy, Jacen, Cindy, Jeff, and Bruce). We all sat there for about twenty minutes before it erupted. It usually goes off about every hour. I was tired and a bit grumpy so RB and I started our ways back to the cabins. Jeff joined us and we decided to walk through the new visitors center that had just opened up last summer. It is pretty spiffy, they have a miniature geyser that goes off about every 6-10 minutes. We talked to a ranger for a bit in the kids center.

I started reading my book RB had gotten me for my bday. We all went to sacrament meeting and came back and had carrot cake to celebrate my birthday.

August 8 2011

I didn't wake up until 11 am!! RB was at grand geyser, I was going to head over there until I was informed that it had just started erupting.....bummer. I ate lunch/breakfast at geyser grill. RB and I then went and parked at midway geyser basin, and walked to Artemesia geyser. It is a super pretty pool of water, I have never seen it erupt, hopefully I will someday. We watched a fan and mortor event cycle, but nothing happened. Tried to see daisy, but it had already erupted. We then went and hiked back our car. I walked a lot and will probably be sore tomorrow.

Jacens new game is throwing away garbage and we all clap for him. He loves it and it is so cute!

August 9 2011

We all sat on Grand until it erupted! It rained on us for a bit, but it was just fine since I had an umbrella. It erupted about 1 pm. I just love hearing Mary Beth come on the radio and say "There are waves on grand!". That is one of the indicators that grand will be going off in the next couple of minutes. It was also cool because we saw a second burst. I had only seen that once before. Although RB has seen it do that plenty of times.

I came back to the cabin and took a nap. I didn't do much the rest of the day because I was pretty worn out from sitting in the hot sun for three hours. I ate dinner at geyser grill played some games and went to bed.

August 10 2011

We went around the grand loop today. We stopped at uncle toms trail and everyone went down it except for me ( stupid chronic mono). I was looking through Wendy's pictures and they got some awesome ones! While everyone went down the "Steep scary trail, with lots of stairs" I listened in on a guided ranger walk and followed them until I got tired and went back to the car and waited until everyone got back.

We continued our drive up to twin falls and then we quickly stopped at my new favorite waterfall for the day called Undine Falls. It is a tiered water fall and super pretty.

Our next stop was Mammoth. Bruce and I dropped everyone off at that top and we drove the cars down and met them at the bottom. I liked to the drive around the 3 mile loop, there are some very interesting geological features to see. They all reached the bottom and we took a family pic by Liberty Cap and we were off back to our cabins by old Faithful. It was a very long drive today!

August 11-12 2011

On Thursday RB, Jeff, and I went on a hike to Mystic falls. It is only about 1 mile to the falls. I had never been before and was excited. It wore me out big time, but it was so worth it! I love waterfalls and this one became my favorite waterfall next to undine falls. It is also tiered, but a lot more so.

After the hike we met up at nez peirce creek and had a fun picnic.

I didn't document what we did on Friday and I don't remember much. I am pretty sure that we ate at the lower Hamilton store, they have some yummy hamburgers.

August 13 2011

Today was the day we drove home. We went through the Tetons and got some awesome jumping pictures. I have decided I would like to go take a canoe on string lake. It is a very peaceful lake. We stopped at the cheese factory and got hamburgers for lunch/ dinner. RB and I got back to Logan and were pretty worn out and just went to sleep.

Howdy
So this last week was fun and interesting. RB had to go back down and do some paper work for his new job on friday. We ended up spending Friday and Saturday night at his dads house!
It was fun. RB and I got to babysit five little kids on saturday. My sisters kids and my brothers kid. It was fun. This is a really cute picture of Douglas I got of him! He is a cutie, but he was a bit grumpy. He was recovering from being sick. RB helped the older four build a fort, they loved it! They kept accidently and purposely knocking it down. Mosty Dayana and Emmet were purposely knocking it down and the Emma and Jayden would get upset. Ha ha ha, what do you expect from two year olds. Later they all did a lemonade stand. They had a blast, basically their only customers were RB and me. On Friday, so the day before (yes, I am going backwards). I got to watch this little guy. This is my other nephew. He is a cutie. I got a video of him doing his happy dance, which is way cute!! Hopefully I can get it uploaded! His parents left when he was sleeping and he woke up to me and wasn't very happy for about five minutes. He kept pointing to where he thought his parents were. I finally convinced him that I was cool and he could play with me :)
Backwards still, a couple days previous I got to go over to my friends house Rob and Heidi. They just welcomed in this cute little bundle of joy to their life. It was fun to hold him.

Hello
Spent the weekend down with rbs family. It was fun to see everyone. I was able to also visit my sister and babysit her kids along with my nephew emmet. It was fun, but also hard. Five kids under seven. RB was there to help me and I was really glad he was!
Wendy, Dave, and Jacen have moved back from Hawaii! It was so fun to see them! I also got to babysit Jacen, we had a fun time. I will have to show you his happy dance video! Its so cute!
We looked at a couple apartments. We aren't done looking. We did find a couple that we liked.

A fish oil pill seems to be stuck in my throat right now. I found smaller ones, that are easier to swallow then the previous ones I have been taking, but they still don't just slide down my throat to easy.

Another random thing, I just killed a bug! It was climbing up me towards my neck, just scared the living day lights out of me. Ok, maybe it didn't scare me that much. Another random story, back in high school, I was asleep on the couch. I felt something crawling on me, I was so tired I squished it and fell back asleep. When I woke up in the morning, I looked down at the shirt where I had squished the spider and it made me jump out of my skin. It was a pretty big spider! It was dead and I had barely remembered killing it.

Life has been weird lately. I love my house, and there is a big possiblility that we will be moving. I am really sad because this house is just so darn cute!! We don't know if we would rent or sell. We got the eight thousand dollar grant for buying this house, and since we won't be the primary residence of the house we will most likely have to pay it back......sad day.

I am in a typing mood, ever get in those moods? sometimes I get in moods where I just want to hand write everything.

This picture is of RB giving Douglas a horsy back ride, then Dayana's turn was next! It was funny because she was convinced that douglas had pooped on RB's back becaus Emma had got chocolate on his shirt. She wouldn't get on and just kept pointing and saying "poop!"
RB and I had graduated a while ago, but got to walk. They got rid of Fall commencement. It was a fun day! This is a picture of us afterwards.

Hello

So today I had a lot of things I wanted to do, but none of them happened. Yet again another tired day! I didn't get up until noon!! I didn't feel like doing anything because I was still so tired.
I then took another two hour nap around five. So I basically didn't do anything today.

Yesterday was a fun day though, We had our friend Rob and Heidi come over and we had a BBQ! I think it was quite yummy and I had fun eating all the left overs today. At night it was very cool to see all the areil fireworks all over the neighborhood. Since they aren't illegal, it was awesome to have a huge firework show from my bedroom!!

I have to say that I was able to get up and I don't feel like I need to go lay back down and take a nap! Yay, Maybe this phase of 'getting up at noon only to stay up for two hours then go back to bed and take a couple hour nap' is coming to an end! It has been happening since like last Tuesday or Wednesday. I still feel worn out today, but at least I don't feel like I need to be in bed!

Last night I could not fall asleep, It was crazy!!! I just kept staring at the ceiling! I got bored of that so I watched some TV. I think I finally fell asleep at around 4 am. Maybe my body had decided it had enough sleep the last week. I really do like sleeping at night though, so my body shouldn't do that to me. I slept in until noon!

This summer/spring has been an interesting one. I have been trying to get all of my unfinished projects done. Like, this jean quilt I have literally been working on for a year or two? Just been doing it really slowly. I finally got it back out and the only thing that needs to be done is tie it. One problem, I don't have those quilting things, hmmmm what are they called? I cant think of the name, but you have to have them to tie a quilt.
Next thing I have been working on is redoing my dressers. I am not done. I have painted the small one and the long one, but have not even started on the tall one! I will have to put pictures so you know what I am talking about.
I have tried to sew a couple of shirts, neither of them worked out. I bought material that was supposed to be good for t-shirts, well it wasn't! I am not exactly sure what I am going to do about that one. The other shirt, just needs to be unpicked, regathered and the sewn again. There is a part of the shirt that is gathered, well for some reason I sewed all the gathering part to one spot and now I have a big poof where it is not supposed to be.

I revamped a shirt, that turned out quite cute! In fact RB even came home and said "Cute Shirt" And I said "Thanks, I made it" And he was like "really", he was impressed!

I also made a curtain for my window in my computer room! Yay! It worked out!

RB has been running a lot lately and has done a 5k, and a 10k. Now he is training for a half marathon! Then He is going to be doing Ragnar!

Yes, I have been so tired this week. Probably tired of hearing that, because I am. At least I haven't been this tired in a while.

Today was a good day! I wore myself out though! Let's see, I woke up late, as I said in an earlier recent blog that I have been having a hard time in the mornings. For now I am ok with it because I seem to have enough energy to actually do some things.
I had braided my hair last night before going to bed and so I was unbraiding it when I got a call from my dad. Apparently I haven't called in a while so he wanted to know how my life was going. Sometimes time just flies and I forget to call and update people on my life;) silly me! I was texting Ashley about possible living situations for her school year. She was with my grandma at the time.
I basically vacuumed my whole house! I had done a lot of cleaning yesterday just didn't vacuum. After I was done vacuum I made a curtain for one of my windows. Just something really simple to keep the heat out, because it has been getting kinda hot in my house. It is to be suspected because it is almost summer. After I finished I decided to go and buy a curtain rod at Walmart. I needed flour also since yesterday I found little worm looking things in my old flour. The flour was expired so I guess that happens. I Googled it to see if that was normal, apparently it is! I need to keep my flour in a air tight container.
When I got home from Walmart RB was home and had started on mowing the lawn. I grabbed the edger and edged our yard. That thing wore my arm out pretty good. I ate dinner and RB went running. It was pretty hot out when he went, I came to his rescue because he had run out of water and was pretty far away from our house.
I made brownies from a bag and finished the banana bread I had started yesterday (before I discovered the weevels).
After that I was pretty much popped and didn't do anything else much he rest of the night.

Yes I have written three days in a row. I like to record what I have done on a daily basis I have decided because it seemed some like my days were just running together and a week would go by and I couldn't remmeber what I had done all week!

today I woke up at ten thirty! Yay for me, I know that sounds lame. This week I have had a really hard time in the morning. I finished folding my laundry I started yesterday. My sister came and visited with me until she had an interview. Hope she gets the job! I did her make up and recut her bangs! It was fun to hang out with her. After she left I cleaned the house a bit. RB came home and we went to arbys for dinner. After that I just messed around on my computer.
I tried to eat a peach before coming to bed, but it was so sour! Bleh! It was sad because I was so excited to eat it.
I got stuck watching tv and that is why it is so late at night!

Well it has been a full week since I have typed on my blog! Seriously feels like a day! I can't believe how fast time goes. Let's see what my week consisted of.
Monday I slept in, oh wait I slept in all week! This week my chronic mono has seemed to effect me more then it usually does. Anyways back to Monday, I was tired and was gonna go over to my families house, but plans changed and I stayed home. I have a bad memory because I don't remember what else I did that day. I will skip Tuesday because I can't remember what I did that day either. On Wednesday I went over to my aunt kris's house and helped her with some yard designs. After that I went to my parents and helped my brother write a resume.
Geez, can't remember what I did Thursday either. I worked in my yard for a bit either Thursday or Friday, and also did some laundry. I finished a book I had been reading called "my unfair godmother". It was funny. I also painted more of the dresser I have been working on.
Yesterday, I sewed on a project I had been working on. RB went for his long run and went all the way to the canyon. I met him there with lunch! It was lots of fun.
Today I slept in big time! I sewed some more today and baked some bread.
Boring, but oh well

This weekend was fun. I went to my cousins' double baby shower for Raili and Kelsey. Raili is having a boy. Kelsey is having a girl. Then, after the baby shower, my sister came to my house with her four kids and spent the night, and we partaaay'd! We roasted hotdogs and hamburgers and then roasted mashmallows.

After that we made pumpkin chocolate chip cooies, and while they cooked, my sister's three girls started watching a movie. Then we saw that RB was coming home soon, and so we all hid to scare him, but then Dayana started crying because she got scared, and didn't really scare him. But it was fun anyway!

Then they finished their movie and we all went to bed. I didn't sleep good last night. I maybe finally fell asleep at 4:00 am, so I have been pretty tired today. But today we all went to church. Jayden was brave enough to go to Primary in another ward, and I got to be in the nursery as a substitute, and I thought that was just fine because Dayana and Emma were in there. Emma was too scared to go to a class, so she stayed with me in nursery.

After nursery, we all went to Sacrament Meeting, and then we all came back to my house and made lunch. We made stir fry and mac and cheese. Yes, I know, weird combination. But the girls wanted mac and cheese, but not stir fry, and I wanted stir fry, but not mac and cheese, so that is what happened.

And then Jayden and Emma colored with RB and they made up a game and played a game. Daline and Chris took a nap in my front room, and Dayana ran around and played with me in the front room. Well, kind of with me. I just watched her. She pretended to be a dog and barked at all of us. It was very cute!

Then my sister and her family went home and I watched a scary movie, and it gave me a headache. And now I'm having RB type my blog for me, as I dictate to him and sit on the couch.

That has been by weekend! Hope you all had a good weekend to the one person who reads this! (It is OK if only one person reads this. I enjoy writing it.)

Hello out there.
It has been raining a lot! It has been crazy! Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny!
RB and I planted my garden on Saturday, It finally happened! Yippee! Last year I planted the garden at the beginning of May. Funny story, I couldn't tell Tue difference between some of my plants so I don't know if I have several cantelop planted or several cucumber. I guess I will find out when they start to grow more. Hopefully I have both.
It has been a fun weekend. On Friday my sister came and visited me. We planted some flowers in my front yard. On Saturday we planted the garden, then we went to layton and met up with rbs dad, Cindy and Jeff to eat dinner with them at Garcia's. It was RB's parents anniversary on Saturday. Sunday we drove down to RB's dads house and ate Sunday dinner with them again. We went to RB's moms grave, the headstone has been placed there finally. It is a very pretty one. Today I slept in until noonish, don't know why I was so worn out. I went grocery shopping and then worked on painting an old dresser, but I ran out of paint and didn't feel like going back to another store. I guess I will do it tomorrow, maybe I will.
That about sums up my weekend. It was fun to have an extra day off and have RB home today!

Yesterday was a fun day. I got sunburned in weird places. On the back of my hands, on my nose, and my chest. I went to my family reunion. It was the Hansen family reunion. It was super awesome! Got to see lots of my family. My sister wasn't able to come due to the fact that her oldest daughter was sick with strep. We played lots of games and had our annual Chinese auction. I put my crocheted hats in the auction! I got to take pictures of my cousin and her husband who are having a baby in July. I will show you some when I get them edited!

My eyes hurt, and they have periodically been for a bit. I think it is allergies.

I am tired, blah de blah de blah! And I am in a weird mood! Arg...................................la de da de da!

So I think I got a cold that traveled clear from Hawaii! Cool huh! It went from baby jacens, to rbs dad to RB and then to me. Ha ha funny! I have just been sneezing and sniffling a lot!

I walked at the usu commencement a couple of weeks ago. It was fun.

Yesterday was a long busy day! RB ran in a 5k race and came in seventh! How awesome is that!! There were about thirty five people in his category. I am so proud of him! He celebrated his birthday on Friday, but he was more excited about the race he was going to be doing the next day. Also yesterday my sister graduated from college with her associates degree! Yay for Ashley!
I had my toe surgery on Thursday. It was much better to be put to sleep! Although the whole process took longer because of being put to sleep. My toe bruised a lot more then my other one did! Honestly, it doesn't look pretty! I don't think it was such a great idea to be walking on it so much yesterday, it really hurt last night. Oh well, I wanted to be with family! So I guess it was worth it.

I started redoing my strawberry patch on Wednesday, didn't quite get it finished and probably won't until my toe is feeling better and I can actually where shoes!

So I have tons of vegetables starts to plant. I have just been waiting on the weather to stay warm. It looks like this week might be the week! We will have to see.

Well today is Monday, as you probably all know. I have been watching the stream in my back yard off and on all day. There has been a bunch of flooding around here and I have been a little bit worried since there is a stream in my back yard. All is well though! No flooding so far at our house. Thank you for the people who texted me to ask if we had been flooded. Makes me feel all thankful for the people I know!
I went to my nieces bday party on Saturday. It was super fun to see some of my family. I can't believe how time flies, it really seemed like last week I was at her one year old party. My other niece is getting her tonsils out tomorrow. Hope thongs go super well for her and her family.
Today I went and ate at ihop for a late breakfast/early lunch. That place just doesn't seem to be as yummy as it used to be to me. Ever since I had the breakfast food on the cruise, I have been craving French toast with banana caramel syrup! So yummy, I had it like every morning on the cruise!
I finished the last book in a series I had been reading. It ended well, except I don't like when they end the series with unanswered questions...... the series was called the faierie path. It has six books. The sixth just came out in January.
I am pretty sure I have had a bug for a little bit. It hasnt effected me to much except for a sore throat and sleeping a bit more than usual.
I have been crocheting these cute hats like crazy! I think I posted a pic of one in my last post. If not I will post one next time.
This post has been jumping from subject to subject. Hope ya don't mind.
I made stir fry today, it wassup pretty yummy.

This first one is of my first little sprout that came up in my mini greenhouse!!

and this is how they look today!! ummmm I don't think I am going to have enough room in my garden. Pumpkins, Watermelons, Cantalope, Cauliflour, Cucumbers, and Peppers are just some of the plants in here!! It needs to warm up a lot so I can get these planted! It probably won't be for a couple of weeks!!

This is a hat that I recently made!! Isn't it so cute?? I am going to be taking it to my family reunion and puting it in the chinese auction we have every year!

There have been deer living in my back yard for a couple of days now:) It is fun to watch them!

not brave

Hello! So I went back to the doctors for him to check up on how my toe was doing. He said it looked good. I am sorry to say that I was not brave enough for him to do my other toe.......I feel like a wimp, but those numbing shots really really hurt. I almost passed out....went into shock and then cried!! I am going to be put to sleep so he can do the other.........is that bad? Somebody tell me that it isn't bad so I don't feel like such a wimp, please! I don't mind needles, I get my flu shot every year, and i get blood drawn frequently. It doesn't bug me, so I thought I would be just fine for my toe. I was gonna have them both done the same day, but after he put the shots into my one foot I was not doing that again! I don't understand why it hurt so bad......maybe my brain made it worse than it actually was.
So, besides my toe not much else going on. It snowed a lot today. The snow flakes were the size of quarters at least!

It has been about two weeks since I had my toe worked on and it is looking pretty spiffy! It doesn't hurt much anymore. I am scared for my check up appoitment, I might not be brave enough for the doctor to do my other toe.
I went for a bike ride on Friday. RB ran while I biked. It was pretty fun. I think it wore me out a bit to much because I have slept a lot this weekend. It was a very sunny day and I enjoyed it though.
My plants have started sprouting all over the place in my mini greenhouse! I will have to take a picture to show you, but they are thriving and loving life! My peas have not sprouted yet, but I didn't expect them to, at least not for a couple more days.
I follow a blog from a family in my old ward, one of their daughters was sick with leukemia. She passed away just a couple of days ago kind of unexpectadly. She had just finished chemo before they were to do a bone marrow transplant. I have been reading her blog since they found out in 2009. It just shocked me when I read that she had passed away, she was only nineteen! I have really started to become a hater of cancer! I mean I was always a hater, but I keep knowing so many people who have died from cancer in the last little bit of my life. Every time someone passes away from cancer it just makes me hate it even more!

Sorry, Just had to say something about that!

I enjoyed listening to general conferance today. It was nice. I didn't get to listen to much yesterday because I kept falling asleep. Silly me!

Now It is time to sign off and go join RB in the other room, who is probably wathing "Whose line is it anyway?"

Hello my fellow citizens of this fair place we live!
Today was a great day in the life of moi! I planted peas and some carrots in my garden! I am going to have a lot more peas in my garden than last year. I am excited, hopefully I can freeze some this year. I showed a picture of the seeds I planted indoors on my previous post. Three have germinated! Yay! I hope more than that germinate!
I had cousins come visit today! It was fun. They invited me to go bowling, but we didn't go. I realized after they left I couldn't have gone anyway because of my toe! I guess that brings me up to update you on my toe. It is going good. I can't quite where shoes, except for flip flops. They work great. Other shoes make it hurt and feel uncomfortable.
Tonight we ate at a pizza place, mine was way to greasy......blah. I don't like greasy foods. They arent good for you either. I watched mall cop! It is a funny show.

I woke up really tired, but i actually did stuff today. Yay for that!
Oh yeah, and the other day RB and I got our caps and gowns to walk! yay!

How are you all doing today? Me, my toe is starting to hurt! The numbness is wearing off. I just got one toe worked on, I had ingrown toe nails on both sides of this one toe. I seriously thought that the doctor was just going to look at them then he would schedule surgery for later, nope! He dove right into to surgery after I agreed. Wow, the most painful part was just getting the shots to get it numb! I almost passed out, good thing I was already laying down! Any way, the later pictures are of that, dont worry nothing gross. It is all nicley badadged up.
Th rest of the pictures on here are just random ones. I will explain as I go. I got many plants from RB's moms funeral. This picture is just showing you them.

This is the puzzle I have been complaining about for a while! It is finally done. 3000 peices all done!! wahoo, finally.

This is a plant I am currently babysitting. It likes my windowsill and so it started to bloom some pretty flowers.

This is RB and some of his family in Death Valley, CA. We went there a couple of weeks ago. It was pretty nice and warm compared to here.

I visited my grandma and my aunt in vegas when we were visting Cindy. She looks so happy. Love it!

I got this scarf for christmas from my mom, I like it!

This is what happens when I am to excited for spring and can't wait to get things planted outside. I buy a cheap mini greenhouse, and get all of them planted indoors. I really don't think my garden is going to be big enough for all of these plants.

and lastly here is the picture of my toe all bandaged up. It only happened about an hour and a half ago. The numbness is wearing off as we speak......I mean type. It is starting to throb a bit now.

Hello everyone, well hello to those of you who read this. Today has been a good day. I love that it is gonna officially be spring in a couple of days! I already have flowers blooming in my yard, just the crocus's. They are a pretty yellow!
I went to the doctor today, still have chronic mono. Not really surprised because I feel like I still have it. I did get a vitamin b shot today to see if it helps me counter act the effect of mono. I am going to get a minor surgery done on my toes. They are ingrown and have been for a while, I just finally got the courage to go talk to a Dr about it. They are pretty nad so they aren't doing it the normal way. I will tell you more when I know more, but I am not to worried about it. I will be glad to have my toes not in pain anymore! I keep wanting to plant my veggies, but it is just to early.
The one bad thing about graduating is that now I get to start paying off my student loans. Yahoo! Ok not really excited, but I will be when they are paid off.
I decided to officially stop selling Mary Kay . Great product, but I just don't have the energy to run it as a business and make money from it.
I love it when it is sunny!

We made it back from Vegas on Tuesday evening! I went to death valley while I was there and it was so so nice to sit inthe warm sun and eat our picnic lunch! It was beautiful there. I love palm trees!
Now I am back and I am freezing! I have been working on a puzzle and I just want it to be dkne! Anyone want to come finish it for me? I am mainly doing it to get it out of the way.
Today I went and had lunch with RB At center street grill. I really love that place, it has some delicious Food. Their Hamburgers are really good and they serve breakfast all day long!!! I love getting the French toast, it is yummy!
So besides eating out and working on the puzzle that is all I have done today so far. I need to go grocery shopping but I am to cold to want to leave the house! Maybe later today.

Today was a good day! I went to california! I sat in the sun and it was fun! I went to the lowest point in the united states. I had lunch below sea level in the nice warm sun! It was a long drive. I don't like long drives, they make my body ache and I get car sick to easy. Maybe they just need more comfortable seats in cars. Good news, I didn't really get car sick thanks to Rudy's motion sickness pills! They work great! Now I am exhausted and am laying on an air mattress in Vegas somewhere. I am dusty from being in the desert, But I am to tired to care.

Ok So Last post was a bit of a downer post. Sorry :)

Today has been a pretty good day. I exercised and was able to get some things accomplished.

I finished crocheting a purse the other day, and my brother in law was over and apparently thought it was a hat. I wasn't there, but when RB told me that and he put it on his head to show me I laughed really really hard. It looked like I had made a cute racoon hat or something! I am almost tempted to make another one that has the coloration of racoon ears :)

I recenlty disovered modpodge!! Now I have been modpodging like crazy! It is so much fun! I have been temped to go buy a bunch of things so I can create more modpodged items! I keep looking at everything and thinking "I could so modpogde some cute paper on that"! I am afraid RB is going to come home one day and his computer will be modpodged!!! Ok Just kidding, I wouldn't do that.

This week has been hard on me. I found out that I have high cholesterol and I am low on vitamin b and d. I have been pretty tired this week. I thought I was getting better! I have started taking vitamin b and d ,but I am still tired. Maybe it will take a bit more time for me to notice. I have to cut back on fats! Seriously I don't eat that many fatty foods! I don't eat dairy because I am lactose and tolerant, that already cuts out a lot of fat from my diet.
This is gonna be a short post, I thought it would help to write it down. I think of is just making me more frustrated.

Hello everyone who is out there reading.
So today is Sunday and I missed church again! This nine am is harder then I thought it would be. I need to better at getting up earlier then noon. I was doing really well at the beginning of the year. It has been a difficult couple of weeks. We are back home so I should get back into a better routine. This week has really gone fast. I been a bit sick and it has made me really tired, but of hasn't been to bad. Just a stuffy nose and a sinus headache.
I finished my Hawaii scrap book and got it in the mail. It is sad to look through and see some of the mistakes I missed and they got printed in it.
Well I really can't think of much to say..........hmmmm..........RB and I made a cake today. It was really yummy and I probably ate too much of it.

This week has been a hard week for me and RB. Rbs mom passed away late Monday night unexpectedly. We knew she had cancer, but we thought we still had a couple of years or even a small possibility of getting the cancer into remission. We all think she had a pulmonary embalism, a blood clot to the lungs that took her so quickly. I am still in shock and can't believe it actually happened. We have been staying in sandy and have been getting the funeral arranged. It will be held on Monday. All of rbs siblings have been here and it has been really good for him. It is lucky that both of us were able to just come with out much trouble from rbs work. Since I am done with school I was completely free. If you would like to read her obituary I posted it on my Facebook page.thanks for all of your support!

well i think i am done!

Hello fellow bloggers.
I believe I am done with my degree! I have passed both of my classes this semester and quite happy with my grades! Now I am just waiting for my advisor to go through everyone's transcripts and give the university a thumbs up or down on if we have met the requirements needed to graduate. I should be just fine.......but there is always that what if in the back of my mind.
Now I have just been wondering what I should do now......and there are a lot of options but they mostly depend on me getting most the way better from this chronic mono I have been dealing with for what seems like forever. So I am starting to work hard on that. Better sleep patterns, better eating, drinking lots of water, and I am adding in an exercise routine. It isn't much but stretching but I think it is best to start out slow. So I guess I a have a new years resolution;) well good luck to everyone else on their new years resolution! And send some of the luck and prayers my way to help me conquer mine.
