and so it stops.....for a bit

My sister and her cute little family came over on Friday and Saturday. This is me curling my neices hair! We were gonna take family pictures outside!

This is her with curly hair, and yes that is still my Christmas tree in the back ground!

I had some fun on monday with my sillouhette! I got a new blade for it! I am still probably going to add more stuff to this. It is my laptop if you were wondering.

This lovely picture descibes my life for the past couple of days. I will explain more below!

Not the best picture, but you can see a plant sprouting. There are a ton more now, it just I haven't taken a picture for a few days.
OK, So now that I am done explaining the pictures I have uploaded here how the last few days have panned out for me.   On Friday my sister and her family came, I had a great coupon to stay at a Local hotel. They got a room, dinner, and breakfast for all just 59 dollars! Awesome huh? Before they left to the hotel we took some pictures in my backyard, My three  year old niece was not being cooperative at all, and so we didn't get to many good pictures of her. I am still editing them. I went swimming with them at the hotel, it was a blast. On Saturday we had a cousin of mine getting married and we went to the luncheon and then the reception. It was really fun to see a lot of family and friends.

Sunday, I went to church ( all of it)! I am impressed that I was able to sit through all of it with  out getting super sleepy! YAY! Anyway, on Monday I started feeling a slight sore throat. I was thinking, well if it just stays like this and I get sick I will be just fine. It didn't........by Monday evening my throat was hurting really bad, and Tuesday morning was even worse. So I decided to go on over to the instacare. It was jam packed! I waited for like 45 minutes in the lobby and was finally seen by a doctor (and by this time, I had a fever and the aches)! They gave me a strep test and it came back negative, and that is about all the did. The doctor came in and checked my vitals and stuff, but I was soon sent home. At least it wasn't strep throat, I thought to myself. I went home and laid in bed all day. Taking lots of ibuprofen (which didn't really help). I didn't sleep the best, but I did sleep pretty good considering the fact every time I swallowed I wanted to cry. I woke up this morning and the pain seemed to be worse! Ouch!  I looked into my mouth with a flashlight and lo and behold I had huge white sores all over the back of my throat! OUCHIE OUCHIE OUCHIE!! I called the instacare and asked to see if they could see if the strep test was still negative from yesterday (they keep the test for a couple of days, to let it grow out and make sure it is not strep), it was still negative. I told the nurse what I had and we came to the conclusion I should come back in. So again I went back into the instacare. This time it was not full of people, which I am so grateful for, and was seen almost immediately! They did some blood work and another strep test, did I mention I HATED GETTING TESTED FOR STREP! I always gag, and half the time I almost puke on the poor nurse. I always worn them of this before they do the test so they are prepared. Oh, and I also worn them to use the popsicle stick thingy, because my tongue will always block the Q-tip thing. I really try to keep my tongue out of the way, but it never happens.  Anyways, this test also came back negative. The blood test was for mono, which I told them I had been dealing with chronic mono since 2009.  The doctor came in and looked into my mouth, and had the expressions like "man, your throat has got to hurt". I actually really liked this doctor, compared to the many other doctors I have talked too. He sat in there with me and discussed the whole chronic mono/fatigue thing and how most doctors will just tag you with that, when there is no other explanation.  So, the blood work for mono came back and it was negative.  He told me that there has been a lot of studies about how chronic fatigue is caused by mono, and that when tested for mono it also comes back negative like me. So all in all, know one really knows what chronic fatigue is caused by. He said the best things that I can do are the basics. You know, eat right, good sleep, exercise, drink plenty of fluids and then hopefully things should work out in the end. Well, I thought I had been doing all that, except for the exercise. I have been scared too, but I'm thinking I am going to start. Very slowly, but at least something. Since the mono is negative, my spleen shouldn't be enlarged and I should be ok to do physical things now right?? I should have asked him that. I really liked him, because he told me straight that doctors don't know why chronic fatigue happens. That makes me feel a bit better, because I keep trying lots of different things.  I am going to start a daily journal of what I eat, how I sleep, how much water I drink, and if I exercised or not. This should help me see if there is any progress in my energy levels.  I am not going to do a daily blog, although, maybe I should except make it private, because who really wants to know daily what I eat :) To finish the whole being sick thing, he says it is another virus affecting my body and gave me some really nice pain pills for the throat. He told me that I don't look drained( don't know exactly what he meant), and that this too shall pass :)

Yes, I know, this is an extremely long blog post.   I just wanted to write this all down, and I still have things I want to say. Since I am stuck in bed right now, this is one thing I feel like I can do.

So my greenhouse is going well. I have been slacking off with the pictures because of being sick....I have a moon flower popping up and a lot of cucumbers and watermelons. I also see very tiny little sproutlings of the Nicotinia flower and some of the petunias. No Peppers yet, I wonder if they were bad seeds....

Last story (I think), is of my three year old niece . This weekend she noticed I still had my Christmas tree up. She looked at it for a while and then came up to her mommy and me and said, " I know why Santa clause didn't come this year". We asked why and she continued to explain  to us that it was because there was no star on top of the Christmas tree. We laughed. There are no presents under the tree and since the tree was still up she decided Santa clause had never visited me. What a silly little girl.

I just at some of the best chicken noodle soup ever!!
Thanks
bye
