Today has been mostly a normal day, The last week is a different story. This time it wasn't me with the medical issues :) But it was my RB! I would rather have it be me then him. I took RB to the emergency room last tuesday morning because he was really nauseaus and was having severe stomache pain. They ran a whole bunch of tests and he had to get poked several times. They did xrays, CT scans and a bunch of blood tests! We find out that he has appendicitus. Crazy, but all is well. He got them taken out and did quite good. Only had to spend one night in the hospital. They did it laproscopic, so it has a faster healing time. We went to a check up today and everything is looking good. He was getting really bored, because he didn't go to work all last week. I think he was glad when monday came and he could get back to doing something :) Since his work isn't labor intensive ( except for his brain:), he was able to go back sooner to work.

Besides that it has been pretty normal around here.

One of our cats has gone missing.....randomly. Two cats came with this house, they are mostly wild, but we feed them because the lady who lived here before us did and they keep the mouse population down. The one we call meow mix has been missing a couple days now. I am not to worried, she usually shows back up.

School is still really busy, I have a test this week, 2 papers dues, and one assignment. I only have two classes. Still it is crazy. These last two days I haven't really wanted to do school, I have other things I want to do, I think I am getting spring fever.....in the winter :)

Well I am tired so I am probably going to go to bed. It is only 8:30, but I am tired :)

I have been really out of it for the past week :) I got sick about a week ago and I am officially feeling a better today. I just have (again) had no energy and I have been sleeping a whole lot this week. Sorry RB!!! He probably is wondering when I am ever going to get over this sleeping disease! I am wondering too... does anyone know that answer?? It has been a hard week because I had two papers due on Friday. Thankfully I got them done in time and turned in. This week I hope is going to be a bit easier. My test and the paper I had due both got moved to next week. So That brings the total for this week to .....Nothing is due!! But next week I will have a test and two papers due! Ugg.....Well at least ( hopefully) I won't be so tired from being sick and it won't be as hard to get them done.

Devon and Angela moved out on Saturday. It has been quite around here. I think it will kick in more when monday comes and I will come home to an empty house :( My front rooms looks really bare now.

Hawaii story time:
Ok, so the only time that I got really motion sick was on the last night on the cruise. It was a friday night and we were all going to the liberty restaurant on board the ship. I was feeling a bit icky before I got there, but when I sat down I just started getting really nauseas. Apparently I looked like it.....I get really pale when I don't feel good.....because a couple of people asked me if I was alright. I decided that I wasn't going to force food into my stomache and left. I went and got a little bit of something from Aloha cafe for later in the night, but I never ended up touching it. I was sick for a bit, but fell asleep and when rb came back he gave me a Dramamine ( spelling) and I slept the rest of the night. I had a patch on my ear to prevent becoming motion sick, but I think the medicine had been washed away when I was at the beach that day.

I got to go to a lai (spelling) making class. I made a fresh flower lai out of orchids! It was really really fun! In total I got two real lai's! One from Wendy and Dave and one by making it. Then I got a beautiful red one from RB's mom that was a fake one! We got to wear them in our family pictures.
After I finished whith that class I went to a Sarong tieing class and learned some cool ways to tie a sarong around you. I also went to a Magic 101 class and learned some pretty cool tricks!! Maybe I will make a video and post it on here......see if I can fool anyone. When I learned the trick on the boat I was probably making everyone really annoyed because we were at the dinner table and I kept trying to get it right :) I still don't think I am that good at it:) It was fun on the cruise ship because they had a lot of different classes to go to :) I like learning stuff like that!!

Wow and Geez

Geez I just don't know if I will be able to finish posting everything about Hawaii!! It was so amazing! The pillows were really amazing, I know that is a little odd, but they were so so so so soft. I need to find out where they bought them and go buy some for RB and I! That is what I want for Christmas! Those soft soft pillows!! Lets see maybe I will just tell a story at a time.





My dad worked on the island of Lanai ( hopefully that is how you spell it), and I was able to see it from a distance! He picked pineapple there when he was a teenager. We were on Maui. I was actually really close to taking a ferry over there and being able to actually set foot on the island, but time didn't really permit. That is one island I would like to go to if I ever go back to Hawaii. We were at an old whaling port town called Lahaina, but it has basically become a tourist destination. There are a lot of cute little shops. I enjoyed a yummy snow cone and bought a flower to go in my hair. This is where I got some cool pictures of the banai trees (again not sure how it is spelled). I would definately want those in my yard if they could grow here!











So that is all for today on Hawaii. In other news, Halloween has come and gone. We had trick or treaters for the first time in our married life and it was fun. We carved pumpkins with Heidi, Rob, Devon and Angela. It was a fun Halloween week. I didn't dress up as anything but myself :)

More Hawaii Advendtures

LEts see, where did I leave off......ha ha I only finished talking about getting on the plane. The plane ride went well. I took a sleeping pill, but really only slept for like fifteen minutes.There were to many things going on to let myself fall asleep. I watched toy story three, except I don't exactly remember what happens because of taking the sleeping pill... It was a really rough landing in my opinion, even rb said it seemed rough to what he was used to. We got off the plane and took a shuttle over to our hotel. our hotel was litterally across the street from the air port. Dave, Wendy and Baby Jacen came over and brought us pizza. It was really fun to see them, especially baby J because RB and I had never met him.

Not much happens in this video. There is cute baby J, and then Jeff tries to photo bomb, but didn't realize it was a video:)

We actually fell asleep really early, like 6:30pm. In reality it was 9:30 Utah time. We didn't sleep the best because there was a freeway right next to the hotel. I didn't realize how loud cars could be until they kept me up half that night. Jeff and Cindy left with Wendy and Dave to stay at their place for the night. In the morning RB's dad got a rental car and we were off to Pearl Harbor! I had never been to pearl harbor before, it was really cool. We took a ferry over to where the USS Arizona had sunk. I didn't know this, but they didn't ever recover it, they just left it down there. you can see parts of the boat sticking up above the water. There were a lot of interesting things to look at and read about.

After pearl Harbor we were off to the Pier to be dropped off and wait for RB's dad to go pick up the others in Laie. We were actually waiting for a very long time before we got on the cruise ship. I imagined it differently. I thought there would be this nice waiting area, but we were basically just in this big warehouse. When rb's dad had got back from turning the rental car in, we finally got in line to be checked on board. There were security checks just like the airport. We each got our own little card that basically did everything. It was connected to our credit cards, opened our rooms, was used to check us in and out of the boat everyday. You could just walk around with that card and use it for everything. they made it to easy to spend money:) Don't worry I didn't go overboard with spending or anything. I actually didn't buy much at all on the ship. I bought one virgin smoothie, just to try it out, then one night I bought advil because I had a headache. They had many different restaurants to chooose from. Some of them cost extra and we never ended up going to them, because there were plenty that didn't charge any extra. It was really fun to always order appetizers and desert. We were in a fancy restaurant and I order a strawberry soulfle (spelling) with my dinner, and I asked the waiter to bring it with my meal instead of after.....The waiter thought that was funny, but I just told him that I actually wanted to have dessert instead on getting stuffed before I could get any. The soufle was super good, and he served it all fancy!! After I had mine, almost every one at our table ordered one for dessert form themselves:)

Alright I feel like there is so much to tell, but now my fingers are getting tired from typing. So I guess I will have to continue telling you about my vacation later.

Baby Jacen

This is my nephew baby Jacen! This is one of the biggest reasons for going to Hawaii!! He is so fun!! He was constantly smiling!!!!

Not sure what the title of this one should be. I am debating between "physically here, but not mentally" or just plain "ARG".

I am back from Hawaii and survived the plane trip over and back! I did so many things in Hawaii that I don't know if I will get to them in this blog. I would usually write it all, but when I came home I found out that my biology teacher had moved my test up to this week instead of next and I already had a paper due today that I hadn't even started! So the paper is almost done and I have tons of studying to do and it is already 6 at night. I know you are probably thinking "stop writing on your blog and get to work"! I need a break and I am about to through my computer out the window! Microsoft word just froze up on me and I haven't saved in a while and think I just lost the end of my paper...........that was why I wanted to label this blog "ARG"!! The time change from Hawaii to Utah has really thrown me off, I want to sleep in until one, but then my body just doesn't want to go to sleep until 1 am!! My days seem really short! Yes I am complaining a lot..........sorrry!

Hawaii was awesome, and the cruise going to four different islands in Hawaii was Awesome!!RB and I packed up on thursday night and left Friday morning for the airport. Our flight left at around eleven am. We met up with Jeff, Cindy, and RB's parents at the airport. We all had the same flight over to Hawaii. That made me less nervous :) We flew on a 767......I only know that because of RB. I was so nervous before getting on the plane. I was shaking!! SO as we walked passed the flight attendant my mother in law mentioned that this was basically my first time flying. ( yes, it wasn't quite my first time, but I haven't flown since I was way younger and all I remember about it was being scared to death the whole time!). The flight attendant got all excited and pulled out a set of wings and then gave them to me to pin on my jacket. Then she went up to the cockpit and had me follow her to meet the pilot and the copilot! It was fun! I asked if I could take a picture of them and they said that it would be better it I sat in the pilot seat and got one of me!! They even put the pilot hat on me!! It was so fun, and it made me so much less nervous knowing I had such nice and awesome pilots!!!
That is going to be it for now......I have to go and study. I tried to upload some pictures but that will have to wait because it didn't work

Craziness!!

Hello,

So this school semester has been crazy busy for just having two classes. I don't get it! I had two classes in the spring and they did not keep me this busy. I keep getting assignment after assignment in one class, and the other class is crazy hard! I just took a test on monday and have one on this coming Friday! I had a test last week and a paper due on Friday. I got two more assignemts in my class today that adds to the already two assignments that I had! I keep going from "maybe I can do this" to "oh my gosh, I need to drop my classes now!!!!" I really want to be done this semester! So I am pretty sure I am going to just suffer, maybe not the best thing for my chronic mono, but gosh dang it! I want to be done!! :) Ha ha ha, ok enough complaining for me:).......for now....

So This picture is of one of my really cute and small cantalopes I have in my garden! Seriously they are small, but they still taste good! This picture is of a cute kitty my parents got, they actually have three of them. They were so fun to play with when I went over there last saturday! I can't remember what this ones name is, but it loved to be held!
