one month left!!!

Yeah!! In celebration for making mostly through the semester......I am going to STUDY!!! YAY! I only have two classes and they both have decided to start having assignments towards the end of the semester. I have three writing assignments for one class and 1 bigger writing assignment for the other class. The good thing I already have one of the writing assignments done. If the other two for that same class are similar, then there shouldn't be a problem at all . I am a little worried about the bigger one. I have to find a topic that I find interesting about soil interactions with plants.....shouldn't be hard. I like soil and plants.......so I just have to narrow it down.
I planted peas today!! I have decided that I am copying my grandpa, when he plants peas...I will, When he plants corn, I will, and so forth. He planted peas on Saturday, so I did mine too :) I think I am down in another mono rut. It is like a line graph, going up and down and up and down, but it has a gradual trend of going upward :) Everytime I go down on the graph, it isn't as bad as the previous time I went down. If that makes sense.......so hopefully I will just flat line that graph soon with no more big jumps up and down. Wow, that was nerdy.........:)
Every Thursday I disect plants, stain them, then look at them under a microscope. It is amazing what you can see! It is actually very pretty and colorful. It is a fun lab!

Spiral Jetty Adventure!

RB and I decided to take a mini trip. We looked on google maps, actually I looked on google maps while he looked on bing maps. So I came up with the idea of going to spiral jetty since neither of us had been there!We left and took video of our adventure! Yes, The video is very bouncy.....what do you expect to get when taking it while driving and walking :)
I cant get the videos to all upload, so I will try later :)

March!!

So I cant believe it is March! Yes, it has been for a bit, I just am still surprised. I get to garden outside this year! yay! It is officially snowing lightly right now. I don't mind because the weather for next week is supposed to get into the 60's! I am going ( hopefully) to go through my garden and take out all of the dead stuff this next week. It is my spring break. On a downside I just got e-mailed an assignment! How lame! blah, that is just the perfect way to start my break!! Here is an assignment to do over spring break! UGh! I guess I haven't looked at it and maybe it won't be so bad, we will see.
I am going to go to the store today :) I need to buy milk.....and maybe some chocolate.....but maybe not. I have had to much of it the last couple of days. I made chocolate cookies! They were so so good. It was a new recipe that I had never tried before. I think I am going to make banana bread today :) That should be fun. 
I finished my take home test and turned it in yesterday. I hope I did good on it. I am glad I am done with it.

Ah ha!!

Do my titles have anything ever to do with my posts? I always have a hard time coming up with titles. I guess I should wait till I am finished writing my blog post before I post a title. The problem with that is I forget to :)

 So now you all ( who ever you may be) are stuck with an Ah Ha!!

Yes, I have been sick and have not attended my two classes for the past two days :) Great! It is a good thing I only have two classes and they don't require to much work. whew!  I am going to start on my take home final tonight. We will see how that goes!

OK, I know I don't post many pictures on here, but I am going to post some today!! Tadaa! What an exciting post this is turning out to be :)

The Pic is of a flower design I did for a friend. It was a fun day :) We went to hobby lobby ( love that store) and she picked out the flowers she wanted.  We came to my house and sat down and put this beauty together. I hope she likes it :) It was a lot of fun to do.

This is a close up of some Paper White flowers I got from RB's mom :) I just got them as bulbs and planted them, they actually came up a lot faster then I was planning on. They bloomed and are very pretty. This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago. Sad to say that most of the blooms have fallen off now. It was fun while it lasted. Soon it will be time to store them until next year :)

I really like that lamp!! It is a couple pictures back :) I love rustic looking things! Couple picture above( the sister pic) , yes it is on purpose that they look kind of blurry!  Ok, just so I don't bug myselft, here is the original. I really like the shimmer I have put over the picture :) She gets both copies, then she can choose which she likes the best :)

I am tired today, I got sick over the weekend and had to go to the doc so they could pump me full of fluids.   For some reason my body likes to puke to much when I get sick.  I am thankful for IV's!!  If my tummy keeps puking things up then hook me up to an IV and give me the liquids I need!  That kind of rhymed....Cool!!  Now I haven't puked since saturday night, I am just tired and I have a really awful sore throat!  I have missed my soils class two times! I e-mailed the teacher and apparently she gave us our take home test today. She sent it to me through my e-mail. It looks a bit scary! I would rather do an in class test.  Looks like I am going to be spending a lot of time on this.......arg! I just hope I feel better soon and stay better!!   I should start on this test, but I don't feel good :( so I don't think I am going to. I probably will go lay back down and continue to drink my powerade!

This post is for RB

Is it weird that I like writing with a pen/pencil better than typing on a computer? Does any one else feel the same way? I think if if I had a lap top, I wouldn't even want to bring it to class to type my notes on. I just like hand writing things out.
So I got both of my test scores back, and I can at least say I past both of them. Not with flying colors, but I passed. I will just have to do better on the next tests, to counter this lower ( but ok) score:)  It gets hard to study when you are so tired :) nothing really sinks into your head, because your brain just wants to sleep.

Ok, so before school started I read this book called " My Fair Godmother", notice that it doesn't have a "y" in
"Fairy".  It came out in 2009, and I liked it quite a bit.  I keep thinking about it and laughing. So It is about a fair godmother, who has basically flunked out of her classes, and gets an extra credit assignment. She can't be a fairy godmother until she has proven herself worthy. She is the worst fairy godmother though! She is like a teenager girl who only cares about shopping and parties. The girl she gets sent to for an extra credit assignment gets put into all sorts of terrible situations because of her " fair" godmother. So if you have the chance, and it is definitely more of a girly book, you should read it. I checked it out at the library :)

Two of my nails broke off the other day. I was trying to catch my hyper niece and two flung off! If didn't hurt, my nails just look funny with two really short. I painted the tips orange. Really bright orange, as RB commented when he saw them :) I am thinking of repainting them tonight.

 I am kind of tired of going to my classes everyday. Is that bad? Lets see how many weeks do I have left? I have like 9 left!! Ugh! ok at least I have gone to 7 weeks of school! The good thing is, I won't have another douple week test for a while, at least until finals week. I do get a hole week of for spring break!! Yay!! Maybe during that week I can redesign my yard. Just on paper of course, then  I can put it into action this year....maybe!  I would like it to look fantastic, because that is kind of what I want to do with my degree. I need a wonderful yard to show people! Side note, playing star wars legos yesterday with my husbands, and we were playing in the ewok village! Ok If I had a dream come true it would be to build tree houses like they have! That would be awesome! Totally want to incorporate one of those into my back yard!

RB has been sick for the last couple of days. It is sad because he has a pretty bad cough! When he is sleeping at night he will cough hard and wake both of us up, I feel bad for him. It seems he is getting better though. We think he had the flu, because he had a fever and all that fun stuff.  He got the flu shot, but still ended up getting the flu. I haven't gotten sick yet with the flu! Knock on wood! It has been kind of fun taking care of him, because it seems like I am the one who is always sick and he is usually taking care of me!
