New Addiction

SO, I am now addicted to Farm Town ( it is on facebook). It is pretty fun, but still has a lot of bugs in it. I can't really think of anything else. I have just been waiting around for a check to clear :) then I can pay some bills :) ok so have fun!

Picture Updates

I found a couple of picture that I wanted to post. They are not very recent, but maybe within the last year. This first on is of me last year. It was during the fall semester, and I was in a weeds class. I know that sounds weird, but it was one of the funnest classes, it was even a 5000 level class. We had to do some huge projects, this was one of them. This is my wonderful weed collection, this isn't all of them, these ones were just drying. Let me explain this process. First you had to go find the weeds, 50 different kinds representing at least 10 different families. When I would find a weed I would bring it home and stick it inbetween newspaper and squish it between about 10 huge books! Every couple of days I would have to switch out the news paper. This keeps it from getting mold and being able to dry faster. After I did that for about 2-4 weeks, I would take them out and paste it on a paper, with watered down elmers glue. After glued on the paper, let dry at least 24 hours before puting in pile, or else you would have a big pile of glued together weeds!!! After I had all 50 weeds, I had to put them in alphabetical order, family first and then botanical names! It was one crazy big project!!!!!!

This next picture is of all my plants in my window. I once had more, but I was running out of room. Don't worry I didn't throught them away, but I gave them away. I started selling Mary Kay in March! I ordered my inventory and finally got it at the end of march. This is the mess I was making in my front room, while I was opening it all! my husband loved all the peanuts, and we started having peanut wars! I had only opened about two boxes by this time. That is about all I have for now :) bye

Reading Chair

I have been reading a lot of books lately, it seems like the only thing I can do with out having to take a nap afterwards :) So I took a picture of my favortie place to read, I Usually can't stay to long in this chair, but I sure think it is cool!

Hello June!!!

I can't believe it is June already!! This year has been such a weird year for me. I didn't imagine that my 2009 year would be like this at all. I imagined myself graduating! finally from college!! I guess I graduated once already with my associates, but it would have been my bachelors. I can't finish up in fall because all of my classes are only spring taught......funny huh? Thats the way horticulture is though! it is seasoned based :) I have also started selling Mary Kay! This is something else that I never imagined I would do! I thought my selling days were over from cutco! But I really like it, because the unit I am in has a studio and I can have everyone come there, and I don't have to worry about going to peoples houses, unless they want me too :)
So, I have also set a goal this month to sell 100 mascara's!! I know that sounds like a big number, but I want to see if I can do it. My unit is having this contest called mascara mania, and I want to win. I have never really gotten into all the competition stuff, I wanted to try this one though. So if you need mascara, Please contact me!!! I have sold seven so far, only 93 more to go!! :) Alrighty, so I am on the mend, I hope!!! Just don't pass on your sickness to me!! ok, that sounded mean, but with mono everything wipes you out ten times worse then it would if you didn't have mono.

Hello World!
So yes, it has been a month since I last wrote on this blog! three days in a row them and then nothing for a month, HA HA! oh well. I went to the dr. and found out that my mono is still elevated ( that is what the doctor said), so I need to be better at taking care of my self. I am at intermountain medical center, a hospital in murray. And no I am not the one in the hospital bed. Just keep my family in your prayers, because we have been going through a lot :) alrighty, I am going to go and maybe go to sleep........somewhere......
